Faithful to Forgive

The Bible says in 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

How does a worm get inside an apple? Perhaps you think the worm burrows in from the outside. No, scientists have discovered that the worm comes from inside. But how does he get in there? Simple! An insect lays an egg in the apple blossom. Sometime later, the worm hatches in the heart of the apple, then eats his way out. Sin, like the worm, begins in the heart and works out through a person's thoughts, words, and actions.

  1. That's awesome to hear. That was a pretty neat video. What's it going to be about? I have a friend who just graduated from Institute of Creation Research. You and he would get along well.

  2. Thanks. It's on Paul's warnings about enemies of God in the Church "Body." Our first one was on the Acanthameoba parasite - a "shape shifter." It can literally change its identity, based on the condition of its environment and when in cyst form, even some of the most powerful medications have difficulty penetrating its thick walls. Likened it to religious counterfeits(II Tim 3) and hardened hearts (Eph. 4). If we do "shape-shift," it should be as Paul describes in I Cor. 9, "that i might win some for Christ," and without compromise.

Wish I had a friend that graduated from ICR... Jealous! :)
