Not sure where I got this quote, but I mentioned it in my latest Romans class. What do you think of it?
"The heathen, who has never heard the name of Jesus, roams the jungles, naked and feeds his children to the crocodiles, will not suffer the same judgment as will a person who has repeatedly rejected the Gospel."
I believe that the thought is simple. The more of God that He has revealed to you; the more He is going to hold you responsible for. I.e. Those who sit under the teaching of God will be judged more harshly for not obeying it than those who have never sat under it. To sit under it, and not obey it, is piling up judgment against yourself for the time that you stand before God.
