A Picture of Adultery

Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul. Wounds and dishonor he will get, And his reproach will not be wiped away. - Proverbs 6:32-33

  1. Matthew 5:27; "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shall not commit adultery." God has said clearly in Matthew and in Proverbs to not commit adultery. This is a key principle for having a life of honor and respect. If a man is unfaithful to his wife, he isn't only being unfaithful to her but to God. God wants both men and women to live up to his rules and commandments, we must obey Him and His word at all time. The Bible says that no adulterer will enter the Kingdom of God, so why commit this huge fault in God's eyes, and when you married the person God so called you to marry. Is one questioning God's plan of his or her husband or wife when they commit adultery? Yes. God will forgive our sins always, but there is a difference between forgive and forget. One could ask for fogiveness and how could one forget about their sin when lets say, a child is a result of an adulterous affair. Therfore everyone must stick to the Word of God at all times.
