The Will of God

1 Thessalonians For this is the will of God, even your sanctification.

"I think a lot of us need to forget about God's will for my life. God cares more about our response to His Spirit's leading today, in this moment, than about what we intend to do next year. In fact, the decisions we make next year will be profoundly affected by the degree to which we submit to the Spirit right now, in today's decisions." Francis Chan - "Forgotten God"

  1. An everyday life guided and filled by the Holy Spirit is the basis of our christianity. And how do we show that fullness? By the fruit of the Holly Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

The communion with our God is a daily issue, it is not about how much christian background or knowledge we can have, it is about how much we submit to the Holy Spirit.

  2. I think it's also awesome that God's will is accomplished and made complete as we follow Him daily and choose to follow the Spirit of Lord. And then, as we look back to the place that we've come from we see the hand of God ordaining our steps, we see God's will being accomplished. We need to know God's will for our next step because He is the light unto our path but once we begin to follow God's Spirit, we fully understand His will
