I have always wondered why the universe is so massive if it was intended to be home for us. The size is incomprehensibly enormous and its size is increasing exponentially over time. If the universe was in fact designed by God why would he have made it so big? In my opinion, I think that even if there was live out there we would never know, not at least in the near future. There are certain planets that could possibly allow for biological life but it is many light years away. For agnostics and atheists it is pretty arrogant for christians to say that the universe was made soley for humanity since we are a very minute part of it. These are some of the thoughts I had.
