Entitlement Spending

Check out this video by Bill O'Reilly in which he is urging Americans to wake up to the fact that 109 million private sector workers cannot support the other 87 million welfare recipients and government paid employees. It's definitely an eyeopener to those who want to see it. Most don't.

  1. Mr. Spearman this is what you were talking in class about the other day. I find the idea that Hillman would be so stupid as to loose the boots that a police officer gave him. You don't see that kind of generosity in New York anymore. if you think about the reasons for the taxes being raised you can see a clear sense on why the government would raise the taxes on the rich and not on the poor. The numbers of workers, working for the government is practically the same to the private workers. you would have to increase the amount of private workers to at least 300,000,000 people.

  2. Dear Mr. Spearman,
When you told us about this in class yesterday I was very interested in that. I completely agree with what you are saying, although the other day, you said that the downfall of America will not be Barack Obama's fault, but with reading this post, I think what he's done to America could affect their obsessive fun desire (I cannot remember the word you taught us in class) which is what you said would be the downfall of America. By that I mean it makes it easier for people to not work, be lazy and let the Chinese take over when people are aloud to have same sex marriage and abortion. It makes it so alot of Americans do not need to work and they can simply make money off of the people who actually do work and wish they would be able to keep the money they earn. I completely agree!
